Atlas Human-Powered Helicopter – AHS Sikorsky Prize Flight

After 33 years the AHS Sikorsky prize has been claimed. What does that mean? It means that a human powered helicopter reached an altitude of 3.3 meters and the flight lasted 64.1 seconds. Lots of teams have tried to build a human powered helicopter over the years but until this year none had accomplished this amazing feat. You can watch the video below to see this historic event.
