Clouds: We’ll Go Up, Up, Up!

Zach is one of those kids that has had some tough decisions to make about how he's going to deal with some pretty negative circumstances. Every day, Zach Sobiech deals with osteosarcoma, a form of cancer. He was diagnosed in 2009 and in May 2012, he learned that the cancer had spread to his pelvis and lungs. There aren't any known effective treatments left.

But Zach chooses to be positive and keep smiling. He's turned more to music as a way to share, get his emotions out, and something for his family to remember. His choice to stay positive should give us inspiration to stay positive in our lives.

Here is one of Zach's songs called "Clouds" which he is using to help raise funds for cancer research.

Zach's family has started the Zach Sobiech Osteosarcoma Fund so kids diagnosed tomorrow will have a better chance for a cure. If you'd like to donate to the fund, you can do so here.

You can also follow Zach on twitter.

If you think your life is challenging, sit back and get a little perspective on it. Then write down 10 things in your life you can be thankful for.

Share this story so more people can hear his music.
