Nate Foster: Solo Across America At 17

An amazing trip to remember-- Nate Foster left Ocean City, Maryland on the 22nd of August 2010 to fly across America. On the 28th of August Nate landed in Monterey, California. Wow! What a memory to have. At 17-years old and three days after completing his private pilot training he will have a story to tell the rest of his life.

For a high-school senior, that is a big accomplishment to have in your life. I can only imagine the rewarding feelings it brings. After having done that I would feel much more confident in taking on any challenge.

Nate had the privilege of flying a 1975 Super Cub in his crossing of America. But it wasn't just any Super Cub, it was one he had helped restore.

What could you do to help your child accomplish something special in their life? Do you let fear hold you and them back?

Imagine letting your 17-year old fly across America. That could make you as a parent a little nervous, right! But what impact on Nate's life will this event have? Only time will tell, but I'd say it will have a great influence on the rest of his life.

Do everything you can do to help your child succeed.
