There’s an ambitious 13-year old girl living in South Bronx, New York. Her name is Neveah Mosher and she wants to be the first person in her family to reach college. So, does she just want to do that or is she going to do it? Neveah is actually doing something about it. In fact, she is doing a lot about it. She challenges herself to read over 300 books a year. Last year she read 325 books. Now that is taking matters into your own hands!

This young lady wants to be somebody in life and is setting the stage for success by taking lots of action right now. If she keeps reading that many books all they way up to college, she’ll be very ready for college. Neveah says she can accomplish anything she believes she can do. Based on how it’s going so far, she’ll be going places in life.

What about you, what are you doing to move forward in life? Are you letting things stop you or are you taking action and overcoming limitations in your life?

If you found her story inspirational, you should share it with your friends, and if you have kids get them to watch it. They just might get inspired as well.
