Muggins Math for VISUAL Math Learners

Here you will find all kinds of great games and programs to help your visual math learner actually grasp math facts in a real way. I especially liked the program they have for pre-algebra students. It helped me, an grade A college algebra student (many years removed), really understand negative and positive numbers better. I always love it when someone actually can explain something in a way that is easy to understand. Muggins math does that.

Algebra in the Simplest Terms

These videos are amazing. They’re free too! I’ve been looking for a great algebra program for my 10 year-old daughter that really explains the “why”. I was really excited to see these videos. They are done really well (albeit a bit old) and are quite engaging. You might find that your child looks forward to algebra if you use these videos.

This program looks great for Algebra students. Their goal is to help students understand the “why” behind each formula so that the student truly understands algebra, not just gets good grades. They have a very careful step-by-step approach and cover both algebra 1 and 2 during their course. Great for anyone ready for pre-algebra or algebra in middle school, high school, or even college.

Teaching Textbooks

Teaching Textbooks – Math 3-8, Pre-Algebra, Algebra 1 & 2, Geometry, Pre-Calculus

Because Teaching Textbooks™ were designed specifically for independent learners, they simply have more teaching/explanation than any other product on the market. We realized that independent learners needed a product that contains the maximum amount of teaching, so a Teaching Textbook™, with its approximately 700 pages of text and 120 – 160 hours of teacher instruction on CD-ROM, is both a teacher and a textbook combined into one. And the CD-ROM teaching isn’t just abstract lectures either. There are also down-to-earth, audiovisual step-by-step explanations for every single one of the almost 3,500 problems in the book. Using a Teaching Textbook™ is like having a friendly tutor available at the push of a button, but for only a fraction of the cost!
